UK Visa Application Centers Service to resume soon…

VFS Global is the official partner of the UK Visas and Immigration services. It is a known fact that the services of UK Visa Application Centers/VFS Global were put on a halt around the world due to the outbreak of COVID 19 from the last week of March 2020.

Earlier in the month of May, the UK Home Office and its partners have announced that they are starting to resume UK visa and immigration application services again as soon as the local restrictions allow. It is understood that only applicants who have already booked an appointment to attend a UK Visa Application Centre and who have had their appointment deferred will be able to progress their applications at this stage. Where services are resuming, such applicants will be contacted and told what to do next. It is not currently possible to book a new appointment at a UK Visa Application Centre.

Applicants, who were unable to attend an earlier appointment, will be able to log into their account to book a new appointment. Applicants who have completed their application on the website GOV.UK, but have not booked an appointment earlier at the Visa Application Centre, can do so from now on.

For the Applicants from the Middle East Countries

From 28 June, UK Visas and Immigration Centers will resume their services in a phased manner as per the local condition and guidelines. Visa Application Centre in the following places will be open:

  1. · Kingdom of Bahrain (Manama City)

  2. · Kuwait (Kuwait City)

  3. · United Arab Emirates (Dubai & Abu Dhabi)

  4. · Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah & Al Khobar {Dammam})

We strongly advise all applicants to purchase Courier Return of their documents, so they do not have to visit the Visa Application Centre again after a decision is made.

If a decision has been made on your application, and you need to collect your passport from the Visa Application Centre, The center will be contacting you to arrange this.

Please note:

  1. Applicants must have an appointment to visit the Visa Application Centre.

  2. Applicants exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including fever (higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius), cough, or difficulty breathing will be helped to reschedule their application submission for another day and will be advised to seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility of their choice.

  3. Due to restrictions still in place globally, the Visa Processing Centers are not currently able to offer Super Priority Visa, Priority Visa Service (visit), Priority Visa for settlement or migration Service, and Walk-in services.

  4. To ensure the safety of everyone, applicants visiting the Visa Application Centers may be asked to observe physical distancing, undergo temperature checks, or be required to wear facemasks, subject to local authority guidelines.

  5. From 8 June, there are new rules in place for entering the UK because of coronavirus (COVID-19).

  6. Please check the latest information before you travel at gov.uk/uk-border-control.

We will be continuously monitoring the changes and the guidelines related to the UK visa services and will be keeping you posted at the right time. Stay with us. Visaroots.in
