• Proof of Finance: Evidence of financial means sufficient to cover living expenses while in the United Kingdom. This might be your last six months' bank statements or payslips. Particulars regarding your hotel in the United Kingdom. You will be required to submit a document indicating your intended stay in the UK. Take note that you are not need to pay in full for a hotel/hostel in the United Kingdom prior to obtaining the visa. Additionally, this could be:​​

  • ID information and living address of a person covering your travel costs.

  • ID information and passport number of any relative living here.

• ​Complete travel itinerary: It has to contain dates of your onward and backward travel. Submit a travel plan that gives all the information regarding how and what you are planning to do in the UK. Include the travel dates, places you will visit, meeting agenda, booked tour, festival agenda, etc.

• Previous travel history: This has to cover the period of the last 10 years. It can be proven through visas and entry/exit border stamps in current and older passports, or through separate residence titles.

• Specifics about your living address in the home country. Also, you’ve to show how long you’ve been living there.

• Biometric information: If you are applying for a visa that lets you stay in UK for more than 6 months, you will need to submit your biometric information. This includes giving your fingerprints and a digital photograph taken at the appropriate application centre.

• Letter of Invitation: To apply for a UK visa, the applicant must present an invitation letter. A letter of invitation for a UK visa is a letter written by a British citizen or legal resident to a foreigner with whom they have family or friendship extending an invitation to stay at their home. Additionally, it confirms that they have enough room for the guest for the duration of their stay in the United Kingdom. This letter usually referred to as a sponsorship letter for a UK visa, can be written in a different format. The letter can be addressed to the UK consular official, stating their willingness to welcome an international guest with whom they have family or friendship ties, as well as certifying that they have enough room for the visitor during their full stay in the UK. Both variants are valid.

• Paid UK visa fees. You must present the receipt confirming that you have paid the visa fee in the proper amount.
